Welcome to my page! I would like to tell you about myself and my role at Clementon Elementary School!
I graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and completed my Master’s Degree in School Counseling K-12 at Gwynedd Mercy University. For the past ten years I have been teaching in the elementary school setting. I am very excited to transition into the role of School Counselor at Clementon Elementary!
I am involved with the children in many ways at CES. I will conduct individual counseling, group counseling, and lunch bunches. Group counseling usually consists of 3-5 students that meet with me weekly and focuses on one topic such as grief, social skills, friendships, anxiety, family changes, and more. I also will be in the classrooms presenting guidance lessons teaching topics such as character education, self-esteem, career awareness, study skills, bullying prevention, and team building skills. In addition to advocating and supporting students at Clementon Elementary, I am a resource for all its families and heavily involved with crisis response. I will be involved with parent-teacher conferences, IEP, 504 plan, and I&RS meetings. If needed I can provide outside referral resources when to families in need. Additionally, I am continually collaborating and working alongside teachers and administration.
Feel free to contact me anytime with any questions or concerns you may have.
